Dr. Philipp Balling receives the Faculty Doctoral Award in Geosciences 2024

In his dissertation "Structural evolution of the central part of the External Dinarides fold-and-thrust beltExternal link" Philipp Balling investigated the formation of the Dinarides on the Balkan Peninsula. He received the Faculty's Doctoral Award in Geosciences 2024 for his dissertation, which he passed summa cum laude. He has published his research in numerous articles:
